  I brought my dog in for very severe swelling in her face, and throat. The vet that we saw basically brushed my girl off and said it was cellulitis, after doing little testing and not prescripibing antibiotics we left. The swelling continued to worsen, and we called repeatedly and she said she wouldn’t take my dog in for another week if it was up to her. The next day the swelling progressed to the point where my dog could not eat or drink. Puss and blood started coming out of her mouth so we took her to the emergency vet and they ran tests. Her white blood cells were off the chart, she had a very high fever, and was extremely dehydrated. They lanced the area (which the vet at Mooresville animal hospital refused to do) and it was in fact the biggest abscess the vet at the emergency clinic has ever seen. If this kept going my dog could’ve died. From something as simple as blood work which the vet at Mooresville said was unnecessary, we trusted her. I am VERY disappointed. I could’ve lost my dog to this. I will not be taking her here again.
